Seven lucky couples, all past guests at Woodland Trails, were winners in our 2013 Free Night Contest which ended on December 27th.
The object of the contest was to guess the 7th and 8th digits of one of the Woodland Trails staff member’s Social Security number.
The person was Todd and his Social Security number is XXX-XX-X57X, making the winning number 57.
Three couples guessed the number exactly:

Patti & Ryan Garrick, Hastings MN
Four couples were just one or two digits off and are also winners:
Laurel & Ron Wittenberg with matched shed antlers they found.
David & Deborah Schneider, St. Paul guessed 55,
Cindy & Erv Keizer, Sioux Center, Iowa guessed 56,
Ron & Laurel Wittenberg, Lakeville guessed 58 and,
Diane & Jeff Hoffman, Turtle Lake, Wisconsin guessed 59.
Interestingly, two of this year’s winners have won before. Sharon & George Pawlitschek won in 2009 and Ron & Laurel Wittenberg won in 2011. Some people are just lucky!
